Easter Is Coming!

It may be hard to believe, but Ash Wednesday is only a month away. We have an early Easter this year, which means Ash Wednesday will fall on February 17th. Our choir will begin rehearsing the Easter Cantata in two weeks to prepare for our Easter morning presentation. The Cantata will be "I Know My Redeemer Lives" and will feature musicians from both of our contemporary and traditional services.

If you have a joy in your heart when you sing, we hope you consider singing with us! Rehearsals will begin Thursday, February 4th at 7:00pm in our choir room. The cantata features music that was written specifically to be easy to sing, and we will provide music and rehearsal CDs to anyone who is willing. Remember, we are called to make a joyful noise, not to be professional musicians!
