From The Pastor's Desk

As an update to you in our community, our Contemporary Worship service held at 9:30 AM each Sunday has really begun to grow. We are seeing many new faces in this service. We are also seeing more children attending with their parents. Our children’s programs are filling with children. On any given Sunday morning before this service you will find lots of people standing around sipping coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate or juice and nibbling on donuts. Every wonder how it would be to sit and worship in casual clothes with a cup of coffee in your hand?
Our Traditional Worship service at 11:00 AM each Sunday also continues to grow. The coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate, donut fellowship continues between the services and many from both services are spending time getting to know each other. I would guess that the best way to describe this service is that it’s a "comfortable" Traditional Worship service.
We have an additional service, Servicio Hispano, in Spanish held at the same time as the Traditional Worship, 11:00 AM, led by Pastor Amadeo Torres. A wonderful experience!
"Come join an adventure!"
All of our worship services have a nursery for the little ones. Our nursery workers are CPR certified and have undergone background checks. Your little ones will be safe with them. The bigger children attend "Kidz Church" where they enjoy activities and learn about Jesus while the adults are in the sanctuary.
If you haven’t ventured in our door then I want to invite you to come join an adventure – the rebuilding of St. Stephen Presbyterian. We are not a country club. We are not a funeral home. We are the Body of Christ and the Spirit of God is among us. We believe that church should be fun for all ages. Come and see for yourself.
